Founder, Salt & Service Co.

With nearly 14 years in HR and talent acquisition across multiple industries, James has seen firsthand what it takes to find the right person for the right role and what it costs when that process breaks down.

He founded Salt & Service Co. after recognizing a consistent challenge in the Cape Cod hospitality market. Business owners were pouring time into posting jobs, sorting applications, and screening candidates, often still ending up short-staffed at the worst possible moment. He built this agency to solve exactly that problem.

James knows the skill sets that make the difference between good service and great hospitality and applies that knowledge to every placement he makes. Candidates are screened not just for experience, but for the warmth, reliability, and professionalism that Cape Cod's best venues demand.

When he's not matching talent with great businesses, you'll find James somewhere on the Outer Cape, most likely in Provincetown with an iced coffee in hand.

We refer the best fits

You receive a small, curated shortlist of pre-screened candidates who genuinely match your needs and are ready to interview.

You hire directly

You make the call, extend the offer, and bring them onto your payroll. We collect a one-time placement fee only if you hire.

We back it up

Every placement comes with a guarantee period. If it doesn't work out, we'll refer a replacement at no additional charge.
